My literacy narrative is about the time which I learned that writing could allow me to express my beliefs and opinions when I won an essay contest held by an English school in India. This experience let me look deeper into writing and let me realize that writing was not a tedious and annoying assignment, but an opportunity to show people my stance on topics and get my voice out there. This essay contest gave me confidence in my writing and changed my overall opinion on writing assignments.
