My Description: English 110 is a composition English class at the University of New England where the main focus is looking at literacy and taking a deeper look at how writing can effect society.  Within this class we have looked a lot at literacy narratives, which are student written narratives of how literacy had effected their lives. As well as this we discussed discourses and how they are both controversial and descriptive at the same time. English 110 is a class which helps with the overall understanding and expanded knowledge of literacy are looked into.
